Fried CNC: An International Experiment(al) Compilation is an idea i had during the course of a long, boring workday. As my CNC machine was screaming away, suffering from a failing spindle bearing. Using my trusty field recorder, i sampled one complete running cycle. I then had the idea to make this recording available to anyone who wished to participate. The plan was to have the participant use this source material to create any sound piece their imagination could allow. The results are as varied as the locations they came in from. We now proudly present the results as a free, downloadable. international compilation!
