On the morning of January 8th, 2014, our dear friend Stephen Petrus, of Painesville, OH lost his home and all his possessions to a fire. To the end of benefiting his recovery, AUDITOR has compiled exclusive tracks from GRUNTSPLATTER, HOOR-PAAR-KRAAT, THEOLOGIAN+XIPHOID DEMENTIA, WHORID, REGOSPHERE, COMPACTOR, VOMIT ARSONIST+STAALKRACHT and many other amazing artists into a fitting tribute to a fellow musician.
Spanning 28 tracks and over three hours of sound, "When one has nothing left make ceremonies out of the air and breathe upon them." is not just a tribute to Stephen/Murderous Vision, but also a devastating slab of blister-skinned noise, stygian dark ambient and death industrial, and chthonic rumblings juxtaposed by fierce cut-up pieces and more melodic offerings.
